It was a rough day at the ballpark for one New York Yankee fan who missed three chances to catch a foul ball.

The Yankees played the Boston Red Sox in The Bronx last night - and the fan caught major grief.

Eventually, the ball boy took such pity on the guy that he actually tossed the third ball and surprisingly, he even missed that.

The fan picked the ball up from the ground by leaning over the barricade and retrieved it from the field.

The unknown male had a female companion, who hid her face at times, but both were good sports about the whole situation.
