Do some good with #MakeYourMarc

Marc Fisher LTD, you know, the iconic footwear line, has made its brand even more fabulous, which we didn't think was possible. Not only is the name synonymous with great shoes, it now associates itself with great women, and we're not just talking about the models.
Perfectly in step with the current cultural zeitgeist in which cool women are finally being recognized for their accomplishments, Marc Fisher LTD has launched #MakeYourMarc, a program that recognizes and brings financial support to real women making a 'marc' in their communities.
The #MakeYourMarc campaign "will celebrate and bring financial contribution to incredible women of style and purpose," CEO Marc Fisher said. "These women are striving to positively impact actions and opinions of those around them and act as a catalyst for change."

As part of the empowering project, women can nominate themselves or a woman who inspires them to be awarded grants to support their efforts. Plus, the Marc Fisher LTD brand will share these women's stories across its website and social media sites to raise awareness of these women's awesome and inspiring work. If you know someone whose achievements deserved to be recognized, you should nominate her!
One facet of this super cool campaign is Kode with Karlie, an initiative started by model Karlie Kloss. The Kode with Karlie program is dedicated to inspiring young women to get excited about coding, which, of course, is near and dear to our hearts -- shoutout to our sister brand Cambio's #BUILTBYGIRLS program! Seriously, girls who know how to code are about as cool as it gets.

Want to get involved? We sure do! Any time you use the hashtag #MakeYourMarc on Instagram or Twitter, Marc Fisher LTD will donate $1 to Kode with Karlie. If shopping is more your thing, though, pick up one of Karlie Kloss's three favorite Marc Fisher pairs - the Netty, the Tammy and the Yale - and $20 from every purchase will be donated to Kode with Karlie, too! The funds provided by Kode with Karlie will create programs for high school students and give scholarships that support coding education.
