Watch how the iPhone 6s works when submerged in water

Every time a new device is released, fans all over the Internet attempt a variety of tests to see how the piece of technology holds while being bent, dropped and sometimes even blended. But this time, for the release of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, someone decided to test how waterproof these devices are.

Let's start by pointing out that iPhones are not officially supposed to be waterproof, though the video shows how surprisingly well these smartphones take one whole hour of chilling inside a bowl of liquid that would normally kill most electronics. YouTube user Zach Straley posted a video showing his experiment while timing how long the phones are submerged. After 60 long minutes, he takes the devices out of the water and makes sure that everything works properly, making us think that maybe they are secretly waterproof.

Meanwhile, people lined up at Apple stores all over the country to get their hands on the new devices on the very first day. While some fans even spent the night camping outside of the company's retailers, someone who did not have time to spend waiting decided to send a robot instead:
