Donald Trump's penchant for openness might've popped the lid on a secret "Saturday Night Live" cameo the GOP frontrunner is set to make.

While speaking to CNN's Alisyn Camerota on Thursday, Trump was asked about whether "SNL" has asked him to appear this season.

"I'm not allowed to say that," Trump answered.

When Camerota pressed him further, Trump doubled down on silence:"I'm just not allowed to say it. I mean, I have, uh, silencio. I can't speak about it. Silencio!"

Still, Trump seemed to drop more hints: "Perhaps you understand what that means."

If the real estate mogul appears on the legendary program, he'll be joining his new stand-in, Taran Killam, who was recently named as Trump's impersonator this season.

"I look forward to that," Trump said of Killam. "'SNL' is terrific. I hope he does a good job."

The Donald has shown a knack for comedy, earning rave reviews for his stare down through the mirror with Jimmy Fallon.

"SNL" airs its season premiere on Oct. 3.
