12 best nail colors for fall
It is officially fall, and that means it's officially time to make the switch to sweaters, boots, scarves and deeper, more muted nail colors, of course. Rocking bright orange and turquoise nails during the summer months is a must, but now that we're heading into the colder months and shifting our wardrobes from teeny bikinis to trench coats and ankle boots, it's only natural that our nail color should follow.
You can't go wrong with neutral earth tones like beiges, greys and browns for September through November, but as the temperature continues to drop, your nail color should darken. Slowly transition from lighter neutrals to darker ones. Wear a lavender-grey color in early October and a rich, dark blue towards Halloween, for example. Come November deep reds and intense browns will be your best friends.
