We love it when big stars visit our favorite shows and we love it even more when they win awards for it. People don't usually obsess over the "best guest role" category, but some seriously famous stars have taken home the prize.

Back in 1995 "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" artist, Cyndi Lauper, took home an Emmy for her role in "Mad About You."

In the early 2000s, "Goodfellas" star Ray Liotta and America's sweetheart Sally Field both won the award for guest starring on episodes of 'ER.'

"Friends" came to be known for its big celeb cameos, and during the show's final few seasons, stars like Bruce Willis and Christina Applegate nabbed Emmys for their appearances.

Actor and director Charles S. Dutton showed everyone up in 2002 and 2003 when he won back-to-back for his roles on "The Practice" and "Without A Trace."

Superstar Michael J. Fox has won five Emmy's -- and one of those puppies was for his guest appearance on "Rescue Me" in 2009.

Justin Timberlake even brought sexy back at the Emmys when he stole the statue in 2009 and 2011 for his laugh-out-loud performances on "SNL."

He's not the only one with vocal chops to take home a statuette. Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow's impressive pipes and fancy footwork on "Glee" scored them each an Emmy in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

And in 2013, comedy legend Bob Newhart won the golden statue for his "on fleek" humor on "The Big Bang Theory."
