J.Crew Spring 2016 collection is a prepster's dream

J.Crew's Spring 2016 presentation combined their men's and women's collections and it did not disappoint! After admittedly straying from what the brand once was, J.Crew seems to be back on the right track with their Spring 2016 collection. The bright hues and fun pattern-work were a fresh update to classic silhouettes. Timeless patterns, like ginghams and stripes, were given new life through bright, spring colors and even sequins. These traditional patterns were anything but simple, with bold usage in unexpected pieces, like a gingham in a wide-leg pant and a vertical stripe in a maxi skirt.

The aesthetic was a prepster's dream through and through with popovers and blazers galore, but there was just a hint of a nautical theme in many of the styles. Bold navy and white stripes were delightfully nautical and classic in both tops, wide-leg pants, and maxi dresses. Dress-lovers will also be pleased with the feminine silhouettes and their skirt of the season: the midi.

J.Crew has truly outdone themselves and gotten fashion girls everywhere excited for spring. Shop the trends below:
