Meet the bionic model who rocked New York Fashion Week

Rebekah Marine is the woman who sparked a conversation around "disabled" models when she walked at the FTL Moda runway at New York Fashion Week. She calls herself "The Bionic Model," as she was born without a right forearm. Rebekah is now 28 years old and is working her way up in the fashion world, between clients that are thrilled to work with her and others that are hesitant to have her model due to her disability.

The model has an advance prosthetic arm that moves according to her muscle stimuli. When she was young, she decided to embrace her feature and use it as an advantage. Her big break was Nordstrom, which asked her to model for the store's anniversary catalog. Since then she has been conquering the fashion business.
