It looks like black burgers could be coming to America

The theory that Americans probably wouldn't touch those distressingly colored Japanese Whoppers may finally be put to the test: U.K. burger-review site Burger Lad claims to have exclusive news that Burger King plans to bring "the often seen Far East black buns to North America" just in time for Halloween:

According to Burger Lad's source, the name of America's first black burger is going to be the "HA.1.Loween Whopper." How this is pronounced is anybody's guess, but there is, in fact, A.1. slathered on it. Besides the black bread and steak sauce, though, it sounds like just a standard Whopper: a couple of slices of cheese, some pickles, tomato, onion, lettuce, and mayo. There's supposedly even a Pumpkin Spice Oreo Shake customers can pair with it, for fuller thematic effect.
