Carolina Herrera finds inspiration in architecture

With an artistic eye for effortless style, Carolina Herrera's Spring/Summer 2016 collection delivered without fail. Her ability to find inspiration in architecture was proven this season with unexpected textures and barely-there layers of chiffon and organza in spring colours that would make Mother Nature blush! A spectrum of pastel and hot pinks stole the show with romantic layers of pleated skirts and peak-a-boo cut outs for a playful take on this youthful and airy collection.

The details were not overlooked in the accessories and shoes department either, as soft chord-like material was used to cinch the waist on a handful of dresses and on the ankles of each model to adorn their glass sandals. As one of the highly anticipated shows of the season, Carolina Herrera's line certainly did not disappoint.
