ADEAM's spring line speaks to the modern woman
ADEAM designer Hanako Maeda strives to create pieces that "infuse art and wearability." Inspired by her two hometowns, Tokyo and New York, as well as her art history background, ADEAM's line is the perfect combination of design and function -- each look is a masterpiece of its own right.

The marriage of free-flowing lines and tailored angles is a difficult one, but one that ADEAM's Spring 2016 collection executes flawlessly. Bold diagonal lines harked back to traditional fashions from the designer's native Japan while giving each piece a put-together look. Color wise, the designs kept it simple with dark and light earth tones, but each piece had a pop of color here and there that really gave them their own voices. One statement after the next, every ensemble spoke to the intelligent and artistic dresser.
Angular shapes were the name of the game at @adeam's runway show today. #ss16 #nyfw
