If you're gonna work on a Sunday, let it be for Victoria Beckham. The Brit designer's latest and greatest collection: "Urban surf," she said, backstage post-show. "Everything is very wearable."

Her silhouettes were easy and breezy and cool. Beckham has long since transcended the label of celebrity designer, creating looks that regularly sell out and are impeccably, gorgeously crafted. Not that she's one to coast.

"I'm tough on myself. I'm always wanting to better myself. I always go with my gut instinct," she said.

And yes, while she adores it when non-famous ladies wear her creations, there's another woman Beckham has in mind. She just might occupy the White House. Yes, we're talking about Hillary Clinton. "I have never met her. I would love to. I support women and I love strong women. I would absolutely love to dress her," said Beckham.

Her teenage son Brooklyn stood near mom as she did her press rounds at 25 Wall Street. "He's been with me the last few days. It's great to have the kids around. It's great to have young, fresh people around," she says.

Beckham just opened her store in London, and says business is booming.

"I do feel very lucky. I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel a lot and I think that that really shows," says Beckham.

Her frocks fit every body type. And that's by design. Beyonce has worn her dresses, as has Sarah Jessica Parker. So yes, ladies, go ahead, try her on.

"Absolutely. For me, women are women. I want to make women feel like the best version of themselves," she said.
