Victoria Beckham seamlessly combines urban minimalist with chic check and surf prints in her latest collection. The Spring/Summer 2016 line sticks to the designer's minimalist style but also includes stunning colors and patterns. Her multicolored check designs opened the show, providing the perfect combination of preppy and simplistic. Sleek and gorgeous white and black tops, dresses, and skirts came next, all with long silhouettes. The models then began walking the runway in abstract surf prints featuring palm trees and surfers. Beckham explained backstage: "I'm really excited to wear this print, this urban surf print . . . I think it's energetic and uplifting.''

The Spring/Summer line also includes bold reds and blues, and unexpected suede and leather elements. It incorporates not only her signature long and lean silhouettes but also soft and flowy shapes. The line can best be summed up by the gorgeous designer herself, who said that it "isn't one particular theme, it's more about a carefree attitude."
