Rosie Assoulin's pool party was the place to be
In true September-in-New-York fashion, the weather today went from grey, cloudy and a little bit chilly to bright, sunny and hot in a matter of what seemed like minutes. Lucky for us, just as the temperature rose, we were headed to the Rosie Assoulin Spring/Summer 2016 presentation, which was basically a pool party. So. Fun.

Models posed around an empty swimming pool in brightly colored gowns, two-piece sets and wide-leg pants that put the 1970s to shame. The overall look of the collection was glamorous with a twist - each piece had a funky edge to it, whether it had unique cutouts, sequins, extra fabric in interesting places or featured a bikini top over a button-down shirt.
To top off the summery occasion, popsicles were served to nibble on while drooling over one fabulous look after the other.
