Edie Parker will fill your closet with whimsical, colorful bags
By: My Stiletto Life
If tonight's rainy weather were any indication that summer is ending, you wouldn't know it from Edie Parker's NYFW presentation. Custom kitchy clutches, adorned with novelty names/phrases to pineapples, were strewn about seashells and buoys on white cotton tablecloths. It felt like a Hampton's beach party tucked away in Tribeca!
Edie Parker's aesthetic clearly doesn't take itself too seriously and leans toward bold pink and blue colors. These are the type of clutches you can wear with any outfit to add some spunk!
Brett Heyman, Edie Parker's founder, certainly drew a crowd from editors to bloggers—I even spied quirky fashion blogger Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller. The crowd mingled while munching on passed bites and sipping signature cocktails. The presentation allowed for people to touch and try the clutches and even take several snaps of them. Now that's how you celebrate a new collection (and NYFW)!
