Erin Fetherston dreams in ruffles and flower prints for Spring 2016

Some designers surprise every season while others bring exactly what you expect. Erin Fetherston belongs to the second group. As always, her show met my expectations and left me dreaming of fairies and fairy godmothers.

Playful silhouettes, volume, ruffles and flower prints. Long dresses and soft blouses that were barely there. And those nude, lace-up sandals that made me think of beaches covered with white sand and hot summers. I fell in love with a white dress with ruffles that I would happily wear for my wedding and a flowy, long-sleeved orange dress that hits just above the knee.

Fetherston's work is so feminine, playful and romantic, that right now, I can hardly imagine putting on a pair of distressed jeans. I want to feel elegant, beautiful and like a woman...and for that I definitely need one of her floor-length dresses.
