Americans reveal negative experiences with Obamacare
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, was signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010 and upheld by the Supreme Court on June 28, 2012. The act was implemented in an effort to give more American citizens the ability to acquire affordable healthcare of good quality. Obama also hoped to reduce the growth in United States healthcare spending with Obamacare.
While the intentions behind Obamacare are positive and the act has helped many people in need of more affordable healthcare, others are unhappy with the results of the act. Obamacare is more expensive than many anticipated, and there are strict regulations that may inhibit people who can't afford healthcare through other means from accessing Obamacare.
Therefore, several unhappy Obamacare recipients took to Whisper, the popular app that provides an anonymous platform for people to share their most honest thoughts, to share their negative experiences with Obamacare.
