Elderly woman walks into police station just to get a hug
A Colorado police station received a very unique visit on Monday when an elderly woman walked into the building for an unusual reason. The lady didn't have to file any complaint or crime, but rather simply approached an officer and told him that since she was very upset with the recent loss of officers across the country, she wanted to give him a hug.
The Police Department public relation coordinator commented in an interview with CBS News that the gesture meant a lot for the officer but it moved everyone there as it felt good to be recognized for the work they are trying to do.
