After a 15-year-old Trumann, Arkansas girl's bicycle was stolen on Thursday, she was completely distraught. The bike was her only mode of transportation to school, and she didn't have the means to buy a new one.

Sergeant Chad Mason of the Trumann Police Department came to the teen's rescue after the department stated on their Facebook page that the girl's bike was reported as stolen. Mason, who recently asked the community for help with his own child, went to Walmart to buy the girl a new bicycle.

After the department shared photos of the girl with her new bike on Facebook, the story went viral. The photos on social media have gained over 7,000 likes and 2,000 shares.

The story just goes to show that people can be kind, selfless, and generous. Thanks for restoring our faith in humanity, Sergeant Mason!
