Oak Park woman finds huge rattlesnake sitting on windowsill; calls 911
A terrified woman in Oak Park called 911 after finding a 4-foot-long rattlesnake lounging on her windowsill. At first, Debbie Wittlin thought it might be a towel, but when she saw the little head and its tongue coming out, she screamed for her husband.
They called 911, and her husband, equipped with a golf club, stayed 10 feet away from the snake. The creature became agitated as firefighters tried to capture it, but luckily, no one was hurt.
