Is Rugrats Coming Back to Nickelodeon?!?!?!?
Is Rugrats Coming Back to Nickelodeon?!?!?!?

It's safe to say that if you were born between the years 1985 and 1997, many things that you enjoyed in your childhood are being revived. Take classics like "Beauty and the Beast, "Goosebumps," and even "Full House," widely known 90s staples that are now getting a new fresh take.

Before there was "iCarly" and "Spongebob Squarepants" on Nickelodeon, there was "Hey Arnold," and "Double Dare: 2000." The Viacom owned company is considering taking a look at those classics and giving them fresh new audience.

Programming executives like Richard Hicks, president of content planning and development, is fully behind this idea. "We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way."

Under this plan we could potentially see classics like "Rugrats," "Catdog" and "Figure It Out," all essential to the culture of a 90s kid. The shows may not come back as a rebooted series, thankfully, could be featured in other formats like a movie or special.

Hicks told Variety that they are now listening to the generation that watched these shows in their fruition, and are taking note. "We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones they've told us multiple times they want to have brought back."

Needless to say this might be the best news a 90s kid could ever hear. Nickelodeon, it's your move now because we so want to watch reruns of "Rugrats." Please and thank you.
