Dad posts video of 'ghost' in 4-year-old daughter's bedroom

Updated

When Daniel Garrett gave his phone to his 4-year-old daughter to play with, he never expected what he saw on the screen. He's so terrified that he is now refusing to sleep in his own house.

When the Toronto, Canada father went to the bathroom and left his daughter to play on his phone as she recorded herself singing, the girl captured more than just her adorable singing voice. When Garrett played the video back, he noticed that the blankets of his daughter's bed were moving several feet away from her legs, as if something was crawling around.

The father insists that if you listen very closely, you can hear a man's voice singing along with the little girl and telling her "you're so funny." Garrett said:

"She is babbling as children do and when she pauses you hear a male voice sing along with her and the blanket moves. Also, at the end, the male voice says 'you're so funny.'"

Garrett said that he is now terrified of his own house. He added:

"I have never had anything like this happen to me. My eyes water and my hair stands up on my arms when I watch this."

The video was posted to Reddit on September 2 and has since gone viral.

Garrett and his daughter are now living at Garrett's parents' house until more permanent housing arrangements are made.
