They go on to explain their reasoning behind the choice, which is pretty valid if you ask us. "Two is better than one. Just imagine, you're in there. One of your hosts drops dead from cardiac arrest. What do you do? Second host goes on! And you keep going. ... Note to self. Check out their heart rates."
This wouldn't be the first time two people took over as host. The last time was in 2011 when James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosted, and we all know how that went. To be honest, if Ellen DeGeneres could just host every year, we would be happy campers.
This had us thinking, who could this dynamic duo be? We created a little list of who we would love to see host the Oscars.
1.) Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence
After already professing their love for one another, and writing a screenplay together, this duo seems like a sure fire bet. Amy Schumer is used to comedy and stand-up, and J.Law has already been to the Oscars multiple times (and won), so this is a no brainer.
2.) Key and Peele
These two have proved their strengths through their show on Comedy Central, won over the likes of President Barrack Obama, and not to mention they are two of pop culture's funniest. The Academy would be glad to have them.
3.) Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Don't lie, when you hear duo, your first thought was Tina and Amy. After absolutely killing their past three hosting gigs for the Golden Globes, they sure know what they're doing. This is what America has been waiting for, so why not just give us what we deserve (and want, of course).
So which of these do you like the best? Let us know!
