Chipotle has quickly become a go-to and favorite for many, but the chain of Mexican grills has proven to be particularly popular among millennials, and more specifically, among the college demographic.
In an effort to cater to the college-aged Chipotle-lovers, Chipotle has announced that they will begin delivering to college campuses this fall. The chain is pairing up with Tapingo, a food-delivery app that is geared towards the college market, and the restaurant will deliver burritos, bowls and other menu items.
While the delivery system will begin this fall with 40 college campus locations, Chipotle plans to expand their delivery service to 100 additional campuses by spring.
Although Chipotle slowly started entering the delivery market in the past year with partnerships with Postmates and OrderUp, this is the chain's first college-focused initiative. The delivery is currently available at Arizona State University, the University of Southern California, California State University Chico, Louisiana State University, the University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University, but Business Wire has the full list of college campuses that will have Chipotle delivery this fall:
