More than 200 trucks attended this 3-year-old boy's funeral
Elijah Steffen -- a 3-year-old boy from Arizona -- died from a rare disease on August 21, but he was honored in an incredible way at his funeral on August 28.
The toddler adored trucks and his family wanted to incorporate that love into a parade to celebrate his life.
The family's desire to have this parade quickly spread via Facebook, and Friday's fleet included a variety of trucks, from fire engines to monster trucks and military vehicles.
Meanwhile, Elijah's family had only initially asked that one truck show up to the funeral. Eventually, the community's Facebook posts reached hundreds of strangers, though.
See the video below about a self-driving truck, in honor of Elijah:
Sam Koster, one of the truck drivers who attended the funeral, told ABC 15, "That's what a community does. They all come together. And that's what this family needs."
