17,000 animals hit the scales at the London Zoo's annual weigh-in
Hope everyone at the zoo has been eating healthy!
The London Zoo performed its annual weigh-in for its animals on Wednesday. Over 17,000 animals had their height and weight recorded as part of the Zoo's yearly check-up. The London Zoo's findings are shared with zoos all over the world to help track information on endangered species.
This year's check-up was quite the scene with camels, Humboldt penguins, an Iberian Midwife toad, and a giant tortoise all participating. Naturally, it made for dozens of funny photos as the animals prepped for their big weigh-in. Check them out above.
