Whitney Lash, an Atlanta mom, found herself calling 911 after four robbers posed as new neighbors, entered her home, and shot her husband, all while the couple's 2-year-old son was napping upstairs.

The robbers pretended to be neighbors with car trouble, and the Lash family had just come back from a family vacation with their 2-year-old son Everson and 6-month-old daughter Lucy.

Mike Lash was shot in both of his legs, and thankfully, his wife and children were unharmed.

Whitney Lash told ABC News:

Mike Lash underwent emergency surgery on his legs after the shooting, and he is miraculously expected to make a full recovery.

Police have arrested Brandon Jerome Smith, an 18-year-old who is one of the four suspects of the robbery.
