Step Up propels girls from under-resourced communities to fulfill their potential by empowering them to become confident, college-bound, career-focused, and ready to join the next generation of professional women.

Nearly 50% of Step Up girls' peers will not complete high school and stand to lose nearly $1 million in lifetime earnings. Step Up believes ending the dropout crisis depends on mentorship.

So Step Up inspires professional women to inspire teen girls via after-school and weekend mentorship programs. The organization introduces girls to many women mentors in various industries who've made different choices - and the girls have the chance to learn and grow from each of them.

100% of Step Up girls have access to multiple professional women mentors - a stat the nonprofit believes will empower the girls to be confident, college-bound and career-focused.
