Someone live tweeted this couple's epic in-flight breakup

Updated

While we all wish to endure dignified, quiet breakups in the privacy of our own homes, we all know that this wish isn't all too realistic most of the time. We get so swept up in the drama, heightened emotions, and desperation that accompany a breakup that we find ourselves causing public scenes and raising our voices in the least appropriate of places.

Take an airplane, for example. It now seems that not only do people have to experience the humiliation of public breakups, but thanks to social media, they're also forced to relive the charade when it goes viral on the Internet.

Of course, the rest of us nosy folk aren't too upset about it. New Yorker Kelly Keeg tweeted details of a young couple's loud breakup during a delayed flight on a completely packed plane. Keeg spent the waiting time live tweeting the 90-minute quarrel between the unidentified pair. Here are some of the juiciest tweets.

It seems even mystery woman Charlotte can't come between a couple and their chemistry. We're not so sure how healthy it is for the couple to be drowning their problems in bloody Mary's and tear-stained make-out sessions, but at least they provide some pre-flight entertainment. Thanks, Kelly Keeg! Cheers to the intoxicated but seemingly happier couple!
