Nobody is safe online these days. Not even celebrities. Living in the digital era means anyone can come for you at any given moment ... given you have some sort of social media presence online.
The queen of social media herself, Taylor Swift, recently liked a post on Tumblr pitting different artists against each other for the way they conduct their meet & greets. An Avril Lavigne fan site saw that Swift liked the post and put the image up on their Twitter.
Lavigne saw the tweet from the fan site and quickly responded on Twitter to her 19.3 million followers, defending herself and the way her meet & greets are conducted -- clearly pointing her opinion toward Taylor Swift and her shady online activity.
Here's her response:
Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans https://t.co/8kTwBhOtu6
