News: North Korea prepares troops after South Korea refuses ultimatum

  • North Korea and South Korea are clashing again since Seoul refused an ultimatum. North Korea said that its troops are on a war footing. South Korea's Defense Minister said that it is likely that the North will fire at some of the 11 sites where the loudspeakers are set up on the South's side of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that separates the countries.

Entertainment: Halloween retailer will sell a Caitlyn Jenner costume

  • Spirit Halloween, a Halloween costume company, announced that they're producing a Caitlyn Jenner costume that will be on sale in time for this year's Halloween. The company's spokeswoman said that Caitlyn Jenner has proven to be the "most important real-life superhero of the year, and Spirit Halloween is proud to carry the costume that celebrates her."

Tech: This app is going to kill the business card

  • Knock Knock, a new app, allows you to knock twice on your phone if you want to share your contact information with someone, and once that other person knocks too, the transaction will take place. It automatically remembers the person's profile with their name and photo, as well as the location where you met.

Sports: Redskins QB Griffin leaves exhibition game with concussion

  • The Redskins' QB, Robert Griffin III got knocked around for three possessions, and Jay Gruden, the Redskins coach, still sent the player back out on the field for a fourth night on Thursday. That game ended with consecutive sacks and a concussion for Griffin.
