Hamas Reportedly Captured A Dolphin Spying For Israel

Dolphins are known to be smart animals, and one of them may have become an unwitting part of a heated regional conflict.

Several media outlets are reporting that Hamas has detained a dolphin for allegedly spying on behalf of Israel.

While the Islamic group has yet to officially confirm the capture, there are accounts of the incident that involve the animal having cameras and even a dart gun on it.

The dolphin seems to have aroused suspicions by the way it was behaving in a local port.

Reports indicate that military personnel then captured it and brought it onto a Gaza beach, but what happened after that is unknown. Dolphins have been a part of military efforts before, even within the U.S. Navy.
