The great Patrick Swayze would have turned 63 today.

The actor was a master of the big screen and known for a variety of incredible roles. However, the three time Golden Globe nominee Swayze had his career cut short after losing a 20-month battle to pancreatic cancer. The inspiring part? When Swayze was originally diagnosed, he was given just months to live.

To celebrate Patrick Swayze's amazing career, we have decided to round up the top five films for which he will always be remembered. Let us know in the poll below which is your favorite!

5.) The Outsiders
With a cast like Diane Lane, Tom Cruise, and Rob Lowe, you know it's going to be good. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, the movie tells the tale of a rivalry between two gangs, essentially the rich and the poor, when things only heats up after one gang member kills a member of the other.

4.) Point Break
Patrick Swayze plays a suspected gang member who is also a surfer. I mean, what could better? Playing alongside Keanu Reaves and Lori Petty, Swayze managed to get a Most Desirable Male nomination at the 1992 MTV Movies Awards.

3.) To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar
Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes both participate and place in a national drag queen competition. After they see the sad attempt by one John Leguizamo, they take him under their wing and venture across country to Nationals in Los Angeles.

2.) Ghost
Swayze earned another Golden Globe nom for his work as Sam, a banker killed by his friend, who must roam the Earth and protect the love of his life, Molly Jensen. If you are making pottery and don't think of 'Ghost' you must be doing it wrong.

1.) Dirty Dancing
One of the most iconic movies of the 80's, as well as in the history of pop culture, Dirty Dancing spawned some of the best choreography to date and a few iconic one-liners. The dancing, the chemistry, it's all there in Swayze's most known and memorable role.

We couldn't end this list without a "Dirty Dancing" gif, could we?
