Man struck by lightning, crashes motorcycle, survives
Colorado resident Eugene Villines truly saw his life flash before his eyes last Friday.
The Colorado Army National Guard member was on his motorcycle, headed home from work around 6 p.m., when he saw dark cloud looming in the distance.
Although a storm hadn't truly started yet, Villines was struck by lightning while riding in the fast lane. Witnesses at the scene said that he went limp and somehow crossed two lanes over before crashing his bike.
Villenes miraculously survived and told ABC News:
His helmet was very damaged, and luckily, he wasn't hit by another car while he was unconscious.
