18-year-old model with Down syndrome will walk in New York Fashion Week

Madeline Stuart, an 18-year-old with Down syndrome is making news this year. The Australian model already has two fashion campaigns under her belt. Even though these huge accomplishments are already making a huge change in the fashion industry, Stuart has new exciting news, too!

Stuart is set to walk in this year's fall New York Fashion Week on September 13.

Stuart's mother told Cosmopolitan:

Stuart will walk in a Moda show that is associated with the Christopher Reeve Foundation. The fashion label has worked with Stuart before, when they featured models with disabilities at their New York Fashion Week show this past February.
