Dr. Adnan Khera -- an anesthesiology resident at Tufts medical center -- is getting creative about fundraising for the causes he cares about.

Khera has taken up street dancing to raise money. Twice a week, he performs around the city of Boston with a boom box and a homemade sign, collecting money to donate to charity through his organization, Doctor Be Dancing. He's even used the hashtag #doctorbedancing to raise money through social media platforms.

The doctor told CBS Boston that his primary charities are "animals that need rescuing, children who are living in poverty and need school supplies, terminally ill children and meals for people who have chronic illnesses."

He also told CBS Boston that dancing on the street isn't very different from being a doctor. He said:
