CENTRE COUNTY, NY. (WPIX) -- State police in Centre County, New York have charged a beauty queen who they say faked a cancer diagnosis to get money.

Troopers say there have been more than a few benefits that have come along with Brandi Lee Weaver-Gates' -- the reigning Miss Pennsylvania US International -- fake diagnosis.

Troopers claim that when they questioned her, she even produced a fake bill from Johns Hopkins for leukemia treatments, proving that she had truly thought this charade through.

Weaver-Gates faces a theft charge in Centre County.

If anyone donated any money to her or any of the foundations she's associated with, you are asked to call the State Police at Rockview.
