Father intentionally let his 20-year-old daughter drown and die
A 20-year-old woman recently drowned and died in Dubai despite lifeguards' efforts to save her.
Although the woman was drowning and screaming for help, her father stopped the male life guards from trying to save her because he claimed that it would "dishonor" her. The father reportedly argued with the men who tried to save her, adamantly refusing to let them touch her.
By the time the lifeguards had fought against the father and restrained him, the woman had drowned and died.
The woman's father was arrested, and he is facing criminal charges.
