Like this bakery in the video above, restaurant owners are taking a stand against anti-gay patrons.

Despina "Gracie" Kozidis, owner of Gracie's Gyros & Wraps, posted on a public "foodie" Facebook page in her local area of La Crosse, Wisconsin. A woman was visiting the area from out of town and asked the page for suggestions on where to eat. Kozidis commented on the post promoting her gyro restaurant.

That's when an anti-gay Teaparty activist messaged Kozidis:

"Hi Despina. I saw your post on La Crosse Foodie. I love gyros, but I detest people with rainbow filters on their picture. It's an abomination that we are being forced to condone deviant sexual behavior. I will NOT be visiting your restaurant, I'm sorry."

Kozidis was taken a back, nothing in her post in the Foodie page mentioned LGBT...The man was solely commenting on Gracie's Gyros & Wraps rainbow profile picture for gay pride. After much consideration and help from her daughter, Kozidis responded to the man's message:

%shareLinks-quote="That's great! We prefer to have accepting, coexisting consumers. It seems we have come to an agreement that it is best for both parties that you do not visit my business. Thank you." type="quote" author="Despina Kozidis" authordesc="Facebook" isquoteoftheday="false"%

After posting her response on Gracie's Gyros & Wraps and La Crosse Foodie's Facebook page (the posts have since been removed), Kozidis was overwhelmed by the massive amount of positive responses.

Not only were strangers rallying behind Gracie's Gyros & Wraps on social media, business in the restaurant has a flourished, too.
