Watch this very confusing Japanese dog host the news

Japan is known for coming up with pretty extravagant ideas, but this one is by far the cutest.
The "anchor" appears to be a Shiba Inu dog, which is a typical breed from the country. If you are familiar with Internet memes, you've probably recognized the type of dog already, as it became a very popular one in 2013 under the name "doge."

But the latest revamp of the Shiba Inu is definitely going to catch on, even though there are some mixed feelings about it:
