Groom Shares Emotional Dance with Mother Battling ALS

According to the bride Kristeena, this is one of the most touching moments she has ever witnessed. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as her new husband Luke Rheault shared an emotional dance with his mother Rebekah (Becky), who had been diagnosed with ALS a year before their wedding date.

"Our wedding was November 2008 so in just 11 months her condition had gotten so badly she had to use the wheelchair," Kristeena says, "She passed away less than a year later, September 2009. The last time we saw her was August 2009 --just before she passed away. The disease progressed so quickly, she was gone less than 2 years after she was diagnosed"

She left behind a husband, 6 children and several grandchildren.

Kristeena explains, "She lived in Georgia so we didn't get to see her much in her last two years. We were so grateful she was able to make it to the wedding." This moment will certainly be cherished for the rest of their lives.
