Dog buried alive is miraculously saved at the last minute
A French Mastiff was found buried alive and tied to a bag of gravel in a waste land west of Paris.
Her head was the only thing that was visible when Pedro Dinis, a local dog-walker, discovered her. Dinis said:
He also mentioned that she looked 'dehydrated and shocked' as she was surrounded by rocks that are believed to have been thrown at her before she was buried and left to die.
The police tracked down the dog's owner, a 21-year-old who is facing a trial next March and insists that the dog ran away before the incident.
The owner is facing a possible two years in prison, but outraged locals launched petitions to secure a maximum sentence for the owner.
