Don't expect wedding bells to ring anytime soon for the Duggar family.

Josiah Duggar, the eighth oldest child in the family from "19 Kids & Counting," has ended his four-month courtship with Marjorie Jackson.

According to the Duggar family's official Facebook page, Josiah, 18, and 17-year-old Jackson agreed to end their courtship a few weeks ago.

"Both Josiah and Marjorie have enjoyed getting to know each other and to build their friendship over the past months," the post reads. "We are so grateful that they each are seeking the Lord's will for their future."

The two met several years ago when Josiah was taking Spanish lessons from Marjorie's mother. Late last year they started becoming close during a mission trip to El Salvador.

In the Duggar household, children are only allowed to engage with members of the opposite sex in group settings. But if they see a possibility of marriage down the line, they can begin courting -- as long as there is a chaperone. The rules strictly forbid any physical contact beyond side-hugs.

If a couple does get engaged, they're allowed to hold hands... with a chaperone.

The squeaky clean image of the Duggar clan was tarnished earlier this year when gossip sites revealed Josh Duggar molested three young girls as a teenager, including two of his sisters. The Duggar's reality show "19 Kids & Counting" was cancelled by TLC several months later.
