A man was so distressed after seeing his wife without makeup for the first time that he is reportedly suing her.
According to Yahoo! News, the man was shocked by the sight of his makeup-free wife the morning after their wedding in Algeria. Rather than admiring his wife's natural beauty, the unhappy groom allegedly didn't even believe that he was in bed with the same person he had married the day before.
He reportedly said that his wife looked so different sans makeup that he thought a stranger had come to "steal his apartment." A source told Emirates 247:
"He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with makeup before their marriage. He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the [makeup] off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief."
The husband's lawsuit accuses his wife of fraudulence. It seems the couple's honeymoon ended before it even began. If the lawsuit goes through, she will reportedly owe over $20,000 for the "psychological suffering" caused by her supposed deceit.
