Celebs flock to the Hamptons to paddle, party for breast cancer research

Updated

Stars like Lena Dunham, Rachel Zoe, Gwyneth Paltrow and more rang in August in the Hamptons on Saturday for a good cause.

AOL had exclusive access to the sunset party benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in Bridgehampton, New York, sponsored by Centrum VitaMints, which was preceded by a morning paddleboard race. Here's what we spotted.

Gwyneth Paltrow gabbed and enjoyed some cucumber rolls with new beau, "Glee" producer Brad Falchuk. The "Goop" guru, 42, donned a gorgeous white gown with pink floral details, and her 44-year-old date rocked a sharp gray honeysuckle suit and slip-on sneakers before Paltrow took to the stage to praise her pal, business partner and breast cancer survivor, Maria Baum, who helped put on the A-list soiree.

"Her bravery and her strength and her motion and her forward movement is inspiring to me and so many of us every day. It has been such an inspiration to get to know Maria, and to hear her story. Over the couse of the year, I've come to learn a lot about BCRF through Maria and her incredible efforts," she said.

After a few more remarks from Baum herself and Lena Dunham, the party began.

Bethenny Frankel danced the night away in fun, striped bermuda shorts and a matching top. We hate to say it, but the businesswoman, 44, just might be bringing the contentious knee-length trouser back! Frankel was one of eight influencers to design and sign paddleboards up for auction at the event. Notably missing? The reality star's rumored new squeeze Eric Stonestreet.

Disco mainstays CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers brought some Saturday night fever, performing their biggest hits, like "Le Freak" and "Good Times," as well as recent chart-toppers, like "Get Lucky." Celeb trainer Tracy Anderson joined the group on stage for their last few tunes, getting down in a white lace dress and pink platforms.

Jane Krakowski was spotted hanging by the Centrum space. Clad in a simple white frock and a pink flower in her hair, the Hamptons-ready star rubbed elbows with Tracy Anderson, as she got a preview of the nutritional brand's newest product, VitaMints, containing essential nutrients you enjoy like a mint, which will be released this fall.
