While most high schoolers anticipate their prom night for four years, "Pretty Little Liars" fans had been anxiously awaiting last night's prom episode for the past six years. The episode, "Last Dance" was the perfect lead-up to next week's summer finale and the big "A" reveal.

While the fab four, or five now that Alison is kind of back in the crew, all looked absolutely stunning, their beautiful gowns and fancy hairdos aren't what left us speechless last night. The episode contained all the makings of a solid "Pretty Little Liars" event. A Red Coat sighting, an abduction, an undercover reveal, romantic relationship progress for all five "liars," and, of course, a school dance. We all know how "A" feels about dances.

The episode threw in an extra dose of drama when the girls' moms finally got a taste of their daughters' lives. It was fitting that their first encounter with "A" occurred when they were slightly tipsy (or, in Veronica Hasting's case, full-on drunk) because the girls first experienced "A's" cruelty themselves after getting drunk in the barn six fateful seasons ago. After a shady run-in with Rhys Matthews (read: Charles?) at the DiLaurentis house, the moms were locked in the basement. They were quite hard on themselves for not bringing cell phones with them. Although, let's be honest, they wouldn't have had any cell service anyway. "A" doesn't play like that.

The episode also gave us a glimpse of what's to come for the girls after graduation. Aria and Ezra may sadly be drifting apart as she heads off the L.A. for an internship and he starts his Habitat for Humanity journey in Thailand.

Caleb and Hanna, on the other hand, will be moving to New York together to chase Hanna's dreams. Haleb for president! That big brain of Caleb's landed him a pretty sweet job in the Big Apple that will cover Hanna's college tuition.

As for Spencer and Toby, their relationship remains strong as ever. Spencer even wrote her valedictorian speech about Toby! Not that she'll have a chance to present it seeing as how the girls are banned from their own graduation.

Even Alison got her own slice of romance in the episode as Lorenzo showed up to prom to surprise her. The only couple we're still not sure about is Emily and Sara. People are getting creepy vibes from Sara. She might not be who she says she is. Then again, is anyone on this show ever who they say they are?

The climax of the episode was when we found out that Clark is actually an undercover cop, not a photographer. That totally blindsided us. If you're the only person on the planet who actually saw that one coming, please let us know in the comments!

Finally, the episode came to a dramatic conclusion when Ali was kidnapped by "A," aka her long lost brother, right under our noses. In the last 10 seconds of the episode, Ali removed "A's" mask and exclaimed, "Oh my God!" Get the goosebumps yet?

It seems the number one "A" suspect is still Dr. Wren. Fans are literally freaking out as they await next week's reveal. It's going to be a very long week.
