Warner Bros.' new trailer for Nancy Meyers'The Intern shows why exactly the 70-year-old Robert De Niro applies for the unique employment program at Anne Hathaway's startup.

"In retirement, there's an ongoing relentless effort in creativity," he explains. "I tried yoga, learned to cook, bought some plants, took classes in Mandarin -; believe me, I've tried everything. I just know there's a hole in my life and I need to fill it. Soon."

And among scenes from the film's previous trailer about how out-of-place De Niro feels among so many young co-workers, the latest preview also zooms in on the positive effect he has on them, like sharing (what is now considered) old-school dating advice with Adam DeVine.
