Transgender man makes top 10 in 'Ultimate Guy Search'
The first transgender man is very close to becoming Men Health Magazine's "Ultimate Guy."
This Oregon native, Aydian Dowling, is one of the semifinalists for their November issue of this man bible. The "Ultimate Guy Search" looks to find inspiring men who have done incredible things in life. And Dowling's story is nothing short of that.
Dowling owns Point 5cc, a clothing company that helps support transgender transition procedures. He also is the founder of Beefheads Fitness, a Youtube fitness channel aimed to train transgender individuals.
So far, he has won the readers' voting portion of the Ultimate Guy contest and reserved spot in the top 10. Now, Among his 'competition' are a Marine Corps Sergeant, an Olympian, and a firefighter.
With over 50,000 followers on Instagram, Dowling certainly is a fan favorite:
