Empire State Building lights up in honor of endangered species

Updated

This Saturday evening, the Empire State building will light up in a very unique way, creatively honoring endangered species.

Travis Threlkel -- the Chief Creative Officer and co-founder of Obscura Digital -- and filmmaker and photographer Louie Psihoyos will project digital photographs of endangered species onto the building as part of an art event. The event aims to draw attention to endangered species and possibly provide footage for an upcoming documentary.
