Donald Trump's campaign is celebrating a recent polling victory.

According to the latest CNN/ORC poll, Trump is the top choice for the Republican nomination.

Twenty-four percent of GOP voters say they support him. Florida Gov. Jeb Bush comes in at second with just 13 percent. No other candidates earned double-digit numbers.

A deeper dive into the data reveals a key of Trump's success -- dissatisfaction with Washington. A whopping 85 percent of Republican voters either answered "not too well" or "not well at all" when asked "How well do you feel the government in Washington represents the views of people like yourself?"

According to CNN, those respondents were also far more likely to support Trump, a sign that his outsider approach has been successful so far.

But the poll doesn't show Trump is winning over voters entirely.

Forty-two percent of Republicans in the poll say they have an unfavorable view of the real estate mogul and reality TV star candidate. With Democrats it's even worse -- 80 percent.

Those numbers could signal trouble for Trump down the line, as those who don't like him are unlikely to be swayed to vote for him, which could easily lead them to coalesce around another less polarizing candidate in either the primary or general elections.

Still, voters don't want him to drop out just yet. Fifty-two percent of those surveyed want Trump to stay in the race for the GOP nomination.
